Richard Stevens

Chief Executive Officer

Richard is Momenta’s CEO and was the founder of the original business in 1992 following his early career of 10 years in a number of roles within financial services organisations. He therefore has over 30 years sector experience predominantly in the regulation, risk and remediation areas and has successfully led Momenta to be a dominant service provider in that space. 

He is responsible for the overall business strategy, focusing now specifically on growth and diversification. In addition, he has operational oversight with key reports of the Finance Director, Chief Operating Officer and Global Sales Director. He is also responsible for all key strategic alliances and investor relations.

Mark Westbrook

Chief Operating Officer

Mark is a highly experienced C-Level executive with proven track record gained in a blue chip professional services environment. He joined Deloitte as a graduate in 1997 following a degree in Business & Information Systems and progressed upwards rapidly. 

At the point he left Deloitte in 2016, Mark was their Chief Information Officer for the UK and Switzerland, where he was responsible for all aspects of IT provision, including sole responsibility for a £80m budget and 300 IT staff to serve a population of 17,500 in a variety of offices and 3rd party locations. This included leading the IT function, partnering with the business to create, develop and prioritise a portfolio of projects and services with appropriate IT solutions. He drove improved capability of the IT function to respond to the challenges of an increasingly digital world and a growing demand for innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Since joining Momenta as their Chief Operating Office in July 2017, in addition to his responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day administration and operation of the business, Mark has sponsored and continues to lead its transformation and change programmes which are both internally and externally focused and overall aimed at improving service delivery and client satisfaction.  

Mark demonstrates the full spectrum of the C-suite skills; building relationships of trust with senior management and stakeholders, customer and suppliers, negotiating contracts, leading transformation, change and innovation, and managing large operations, internal and contract staff and leadership teams. His business acumen is sound and possesses a sharp understanding of business risk.

Kevin Riches

Director

Kevin has a background in starting, building and selling companies, in sectors ranging from technology re-manufacture and sales and mobile communication. He has a specialty in supporting and growing established businesses as both an independent Director and investor.

He has worked alongside the management team at Momenta to help define and develop strategy and to bring new clients as a part of the growth and diversification strategy. Current businesses outside Momenta include The Big Issue Group, The Big Exchange and Adalta International.

Ian Summerfield

Global Sales Director

Ian is a highly experienced C-Level leader with extensive multinational and multi-sector experience, with a proven track record of leading high performing global teams. His primary focus has always been executing complex, large scale sales campaigns and building high performance sales teams to undertake them.

Ian’s experience includes building C-Level relationships in the Banking and Finance, Retail and Pharmaceutical sectors. He has strong relationships at Senior Partner level with all of the ‘Big 4’ Accounting and Consultancy firms internationally.

First joining Momenta to help establish the business in Australia, he successfully built a strong foundation for growth, enabling the signing of MSAs with all the Big4 accounting/consulting firms as well as developing strong client relationships.

He continues to oversee these relationships, traveling regularly to Australia to do so, and through the appointment of a sales country lead on site.

Since being asked by Momenta to lead the global sales effort (in September 2017), Ian has signed new agreements ensuring the success of the Momenta growth and diversification strategy.

In addition to his individual performance, Ian is continuing to build the Global Sales Team, implementing CRM systems and processes to ensure appropriate control and visibility throughout the sales cycle.

Tim Peart

Finance Director

Tim is the Finance Director for the business, a role he has held since 2002. Tim joined the Finance team in 2000 and played a key role in the establishment of the Momenta brand in 2001 and his role has evolved through to being appointed FD in 2002.

Tim studied for his CIMA qualifications whilst at Momenta and became a passed finalist in July 2005. Tim has operational control of the finance function and is closely involved in other areas including risk management and legal. His personal knowledge and interest in IT matters resulted in him until recently assuming responsibility for this area too, working closely with our IT partners to transition the internal systems over the past 5 years in particular migrating much of the operating infrastructure into the cloud.

Tim has both a strategic and operational role within the company and manages closely all aspects of the financials of the business.

Lee Davies

Growth & Development Director

Lee is the Growth & Development Director within the business, having previously been the Operations Director, a role he held from 2006 – 2017, when Mark Westbrook was appointed as COO. He now works with Richard on the implementation of the growth and diversification strategy.

Prior to joining the business in 2000, he operated as a senior associate for a former incarnation of the Momenta business, having to that point worked in financial services for 20 years and in Learning and Development specifically for 10 years. 

Lee was a key member of the team that established the Momenta brand in 2001 and moved from a pure Client Account role, leading key client projects, to a combined role incorporating the client facing operational aspects of the business.
